Human Rights @ Work

In Australia, human rights in the workplace are protected under various laws and regulations, including the Fair Work Act 2009 and the Australian Human Rights Commission Act 1986.

These laws ensure that employees are treated fairly and without discrimination based on factors such as race, gender, religion, age, and disability.

"This includes the right to a safe working environment, fair pay and conditions, and protection against harassment and discrimination."

Employers are also required to provide equal opportunities and accommodate the needs of employees with disabilities.

It is important for both employees and employers to be aware of and understand these rights to ensure a positive and respectful workplace environment.
